American Association For Justice

The mission of the American Association for Justice is to promote a fair and effective justice system - and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America's courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests. Our partners have all been active members of AAJ and many of its committees and sections.

Founded in 1877, the Illinois State Bar Association is the premier legal association in the state. As a voluntary organization, the Association's primary focus is to help Illinois lawyers practice more effectively and efficiently by providing time and money-saving services.

The ISBA also engages in many important activities on behalf of the profession - among them proposing and shaping legislation, educating the public, and supporting the courts and the rule of law.

International Society of Primerus Law Firms

We have been recognized as leaders as a law firm in a very unique way: membership in the Primerus organization. Primerus is an elite international group of law firms, which the Wall Street Journal has described as offering "consumers a way to pick the good from the bad by establishing a sort of 'Good Housekeeping' seal of approval for attorneys."

The International Society of Primerus Law Firms (Primerus) is a society of top-rated, independent, boutique law firms that have earned the right to display the Primerus seal of quality. As one of the most respected law firm societies, Primerus has become the size of some of the world’s largest law firms. With thousands of lawyers in the society, Primerus members, collectively, offer clients a breadth of expertise and jurisdictional coverage. Law firms in the U.S. and Canada must be AV-rated using the Martindale-Hubbell peer review service. Additionally, once approved for membership, every Primerus firm is audited, annually, to ensure that the legal services they continue to provide to clients are of a consistent, high quality, year after year. Each member is committed to the following standards: Integrity, Excellent Work Product, Reasonable Fees, Continuing Legal Education, Civility and Community Service.

We are the only plaintiffs' personal injury law firm in Chicago and the entire state of Illinois to be included in this prestigious group. And there are only 39 personal injury law firms in the United States that has been honored with membership in Primerus. Stephen I. Lane served as Vice-Chair of the Plaintiff and Consumer Division of Primerus and was elevated to Chair in October 2010.  Learn more about Primerus here.
